It was an another day in the sun for some of the country’s cream of the crop in the field of mathematics for making no meager harvest in the International Talent Mathematics Competition (ITMC) held online on February 21, 2021.
The Filipino math whiz kids had amassed 12 gold, 32 silver, 57 bronze medals and 81 merit certificates, bringing a final tally of 182 medals and awards.
In order to mimic normal competition conditions, the organizers required all participants to complete their exams simultaneously in a coordinated one hour and 30 minute.
