More than a thousand math wizards registered to participate in the 2019 Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) to be held on Saturday, 21 September 2019 from 9:00am – 10:30am.
For other testing centers, the following are the time schedule of SEAMO:
Colegio San Agustin – Biñan – 1:00 p.m.
*Grace Christian College – 1:00 p.m.
Precious International School of Davao – 2:00 p.m.
Canossa Academy of Calamba – 2:00 p.m. (especially those taking CACPRISAA)
*Note: All participants who will take the 2019 SEAMO in Sen. Rene Cayetano MSTHS will be transferred and joined with the participants at Grace Christian venue due to non availability of the school on the contest date.
SEAMO is an international Math Olympiad competition that is currently held in over 15 countries with over 50,000 participants.
Students who participated have trained their critical thinking skills and developed higher mathematical capabilities through exclusive insights to their own detailed performance charts from the competition (by using a proprietary analytical algorithm researched and formulated by Mr. Terry Chew B.Sc, the author of the celebrated workbook series ‘Unleash the Maths Olympian in You!’)
On top of that, winners of SEAMO have the opportunity to represent their country in the global round where they stand a chance to be shortlisted for scholarships with renowned MNCs.
Affected SEAMO participants are requested to inform to the person-in-charge at this email address seamo@mathdap.com on or before Tuesday, September 17, 2019 for the following concerns:
- Accuracy of their grade level (SY2019-20), the spelling of names, names of schools and contest venue
- Students who registered yet their names are not in the lists below.
- Students who paid before the deadline but did not register online.
