PH math wizards invited to Malaysia math match - 13th WMO Kuala Lumpur

The Mathematics Development Academy of the Philippines (MathDAP) will send at least 30 math wizards representing the Philippines in the13th World Cup of the World Math-Fusion Olympiad which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 26 – 28, 2019.
The MathDAP challengers whose names are listed below must make a confirmation of participation, using this subject header, “Yes to Malaysia Math Contest” and send it to this email address: [email protected], not later than July 5, 2019.
The person-in-charge, after receiving the confirmation will send out the registration form and other initial requirements for compliance.

The young Filipino math warriors, geared up for mental battle are now set to embark on different international math competitions where display of math prowess and tactical power are names of the game. Filipino students end up as biggest math winners in IMWIC

Filipino students gave a stunning performance for bagging a whopping 268 medals and 51 other awards in the recently concluded 2019 International Mathematics Wizards Challenge held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on June 16 – 19, 2019.
The competition which attracted close to 500 contestants from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines had brought out the best version of our Filipino math wizards by winning 43 gold, 86 silver, 139 bronze medals and 51 merit awards.
Mr. Arvie Ubarro, MathDAP president said, “This is a great stimulus to other Philippine participants who are set to cross the skyways for other forthcoming math contests slated this year. The result will motivate them to produce a better performance.”
The impressive victory of the Philippine teams in IMWiC is attributed to their hard work for continuously thriving on the challenge of going home undefeated.

PhilBrain fields aspirants/challengers to math challenge in China (1st Batch)

The Philippine Brain Power Society (PhilBrain) has identified 500 math aces that will compose the Philippine team to this year’s 3D Cup Pan-Asia Pacific International Invitation Competition which will be held in X’ian, China on July 26 – 30, 2019.

The said math contest got the nod of the Department of Education through the issuance of a DepEd Advisory 083, series 2019, on May 31, 2019.

The 3D Cup Pan-Asia Pacific International Invitation Competition is one of the early contests which the PhilBrain aspirants joining this year.

To be officially part of the Philippine team, the trainees whose names are listed below must send their confirmation of participation by filling out the form available in the link below not later than Saturday, June 26, 2019.

MATH WIZARDS REGISTER TO JOIN THE 2019 AMO

More than 500 math wizards registered to participate in the 2019 Asia Mathematics Olympiad (AMO), a correspondence math contest whose first round is on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at select schools and MTG centers nationwide. Registration starts at 8:00 am, contest proper at 9:00 am. For those participants assigned at Grace Christian College, the registration starts at 1:00 pm and the contest follows at 1:30pm on the same date. 

Please bring the original deposit slip on the contest venue.

The participants are reminded of the following things: Be at the contest venue an hour earlier for the registration.Bring your school ID for identification,Use pencil- 2B or B and bring an eraser.Calculators are not permitted.Mobile phones and other personal electronic gadgets/devices are not allowed

There will be an Orientation Program for all 5th IMWIC participants residing in NCR and nearby areas on Saturday, 8 June 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 in the morning. 
Participants from provinces, your orientation will be on 14 June 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon.
