MTG trainees are invited to join an international math camp in Malaysia

School is out and summer is in full gear especially for the interested grades five to eight young mathletes who went through the 2016 Young Mathematicians In-House Intensive Training Program (YMIITP) for they are invited to participate in the 2016 International Math Camp in Penang, Malaysia on April 30 – May 7, 2016.

Yes… grades 5 to 8 YMIITP trainees who were not able to make it in the lists of MTG qualifiers and MathDAP challengers can take part in the 2016 International Math Camp. This camp provides another unique experience for young math lovers who want to further hone their numeracy skills under the tutelage of internationally known math educators.

Here’s the good news!!! The campers after showing impressive performance in the math camp can continue with their enhancement course for they are given the opportunity to attend the sessions of the Mathematical Olympiad Summer Training Program (MOSTP). Since their attendance in the MOSTP is purely of an enrichment course and not a training program, then they will not be assigned to any math contest abroad.

Since slots for the Philippine team is limited, then interested grades 5 to 8 2016 YMIITP trainees can contact Mr. James Kelvin Martin for further details at this email address, jameskelvin_m@yahoo.com on or before Friday, April 15, 2016.
