MathDAP bares names of 1st batch of challengers and youngster group

Academy of the Philippines (MathDAP) announced that only 272 math wizards
out of 800 trainees have been declared challengers of the first batch of 2018 Young Mathematicians’ In-House
Intensive Training Program (YMIITP) held on March 22 - 25, 2014 at Punta
Villa Resort in Iloilo City.
This year’s MathDAP challengers have been invited to attend the
next and final phase of the training known as the 2018 Mathematical Olympiad Summer Training Program (MOSTP), a
month-long training under the tutelage of the IMO experts from China, Professor
Li Shenghong and Professor Tang Song Jin.
The 2018 MOSTP, a
live-out training, will be held at Arellano Univesity – Legarda from April 16
to May 19, 2018.
The 1st batch MathDAP challengers who confirmed to
attend the 2018 MOSTP have only up to Monday, April 2, 2018 to send all
registration requirements to this email address [email protected] to be officially recognized as MOSTP participants.

In addition, 32 kids in the youngster group made it to the top
of the YMIITP and they are all invited to join the 2018 International
Mathematics Wizards Challenge (IMWiC) scheduled on May 4 – 7, 2018 in Jakarta,
Indonesia.
Interested youngster group passers in the 1st batch
of YMIITP also have until Monday, April 2, 2018 to submit all registration
requirements to this email address [email protected] to be
counted as official member of the Philippine team in the coming IMWiC 2018.
