Japan’s Ministry of Education invites PH to join the 2020 AMO

Another window of opportunity for math wizards as the Gakken and the Ministry of Culture, Education, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan is inviting the Philippines to join in the 2020 Asia Mathematics Olympiad (AMO) which will be held on August 30, 2020. This is an ONLINE international math contest for  elementary students  grouped in the following categories:  BEE  (Grades 1, 2 and 3),  JUNIOR  (Grades 4 and 5) and  SENIOR  (Grades 6).   The contest per category contains approximately 8 – 10 questions which will be answered in 90 minutes for Junior and Senior levels and 60 minutes for the BEE level.  This year’s AMO participants will receive a copy of past year contest paper.      All Filipino math wizards who underwent the summer training program are invited to join the 2020 Asia Mathematics Olympiad. The good news is that each interested summer trainee will pay a discounted registration fee which MathDAP had repeatedly requested from the organizer. Furth
