2018 Nat’l Parallel CFM is set on Dec 8, 2018 (Saturday)

Please be informed that Mathematics Development Academy of the Philippines will conduct the 2018 National Parallel Challenge for the Future Mathematicians at 8 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Registered participants are advised to proceed to Philippine Cultural College Manilal located at Jose Abad Santos, Tondo, Manila. For identification purpose, all must bring school ID to avoid inconvenience.   

Call for Entries - 2018 NPCFM

The Mathematics Development Academy of the Philippines (MathDAP) , in cooperation with Mathematics Trainers’ Guild (MTG), Philippines and with the full support and recognition of the Department of Education   through the issuance of DepEd Memorandum 157 s. 2018, already brought students to the 2018 5th Challenge for the Future Mathematicians (CFM) in Bogor, Indonesia last October 27 to 30, 2018. In connection thereto, a 2018 National Parallel Challenge for the Future Mathematicians – has been organized to give chance to MTG trainees to Go for Gold. The National Parallel CFM will be held at St. Stephen’s High school on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 8 am to 4pm. The National Parallel CFM has the following characteristics: a. PH hauls 652 medals in SEAMO 2018, Registration for SEAMO X 2019 disclosed

Filipino math wizards harvested a total of  652   medals in the   2018 Southeast Asia Mathematics Olympiad (SEAMO)   conducted at various MTG centers in the Philippines last September 2018. With more than 1500 participants who competed in the SEAMO 2018 from the Philippines, we gathered a total of  146 gold, 200 silver, and 301 bronze medals  by our country’s finest students in mathematics. In all, the SEAMO 2018 attracted more than ten of thousands of participants from Brunei, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, and the Philippines. For the awarding ceremonies for SEAMO 2018, we shall be announcing the awarding soon.  Moreover, all SEAMO medalists are  QUALIFIED  to join  SEAMO X 2019 , to be held in  Singapore on January 18 to 21, 2019 .
