Please be informed that the orientation for the Provincial participants and delegates of the  2017 International Mathematics Open for Young Achievers (IMOYA)  to be held in Singapore on September 1 – 4, 2017  will be at Bayview Park Hotel , Room: Tropics - 2nd Floor, 1:00-4:00PM, Thursday,  August 31, 2017 .

PH Mathletes to join 4th CFM in Malaysia-

The Mathematics Development Academy of the Philippines (MathDAP) will send Filipino math wizards to represent the country in the 4th Challenge for Future Mathematicians (CFM) which will be held in Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia on December 8 – 11, 2017. The MathDAP has identified 36 high potential trainees, 12 for each division (Middle Primary, Upper Primary and Junior High School) who will compose the Philippine team for the above-mentioned contest in Malaysia. These young Filipino mathletes will engage in a stiff battle of the brains with the friendly competitors from Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand to mention a few. Training and Orientation is at PCC tomorrow

Please be informed that the training for the participants to the international contest will be at PCC -Main, tomorrow, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Please wear red shirts for identification. Orientation for the IMOYA Participants will be at 1:00am to 4:00pm.


Please be informed that the orientation for the NCR participants and delegates of the  2017 International Mathematics Open for Young Achievers (IMOYA) to be held in Singapore on September 1 – 4, 2017  will be at Philippine Cultural College located at 1253 Jose Abad Santos Ave. Tondo, Manila, 1:00-5:00PM, Saturday, August 26, 2017 . In this orientation, plane tickets will be distributed to registered members of the Philippine delegations of the 2017 IMOYA-Singapore. Therefore, all participants and delegates MUST submit all their  original initial/downpayment full-payment and travel tax payment deposit slips  to Skyworth Travel and Tours.  For provincial participants, orientation will be on August 31 , 1:00-4:00pm in the same venue at PCC-Manila.

PH is overall champion in 2017 IMWiC

The Philippines, bringing more than 300 math whiz kids, ranging from grades 1 to 10, had what it took to haul 239 medals and 66 merit awards, making the entire Filipino teams the champion in the overall ranking in the International Mathematics Wizards Challenge (IMWiC)-   held at Xiamen, China on May 19 – 23, 2017. Placing the Philippines in the bright spotlight in IMWiC were the following Filipino math whiz kids whose stellar performances made them stand the proudest for ending up as the overall champion in their respective level. They were Rhian Roxas Grade 1 from BHC Educational Institution, Inc; Shaun Jacob Cua , Grade 2 from Xavier School –San Juan; Nyle Brently A. Que , Grade 6 from Bayanihan Institute; Paul Nino Rodriguez , Grade 7 from Child Development and Learning Center; and William Joshua King , Grade 9 from Bethany Christian School; It was also a mission accomplished for 40 Filipino mathletes who went home with gold medals, unbeaten from the showdown involving
